Pets visited with Santa for annual pet night at the mall

Santa said the event allows families to include their pets in holiday traditions. "Well, they're fur babies, they're like for those that can't have children, their dogs and cats are their babies," Santa said. "We want to include the entire family." The event draws a large turnout each year, according to Santa's manager Jeannie Seevaugh, who has worked with Santa for 25 years. (WHNS/Gray News) " A woman in North Carolina called 911 to report a bald eagle dropped a cat through her windshield as she was driving on the highway. "You may not believe me," the woman told the dispatcher. "But I just had a bald eagle drop a cat through my windshield. And it absolutely shattered my windshield." "I do believe you, honestly," the dispatcher replied. The woman went on to say someone else even witnessed what happened. "He's like, "that is the craziest thing I've ever seen!" the driver told the 911 operator. The woman was driving on US 74 in Swain County on Thursday around 8:15 a.m. when the bird dropped the cat, officials with the North Carolina Highway Patrol said.
